Special features: This 14-year-old Aultmore Single Malt Whisky was bottled by the independent bottler James Eadie in limited edition. It matured for twelve years in a newly charred hogshead cask and was then finished for two years in a re-charred hogshead cask. It was bottled at an alcohol content of 52.4% vol. The bottling was done at cask strength, without chill filtration and without the addition of coloring. A total of 294 bottles were filled.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Dates and plums unfold, accompanied by sweet toffee notes and a hint of honey. Fresh mint rounds off the aroma.
- Palate: The whisky presents flavors of apples, peaches, and plums. A slight peppery note leads into the finish.
- Finish: Sweet and medium-length, with notes of toffee and allspice.
