Special Features: The third single cask bottling of "Best Drinking Friends" is a single pot still whiskey distilled in 2018. After two years in ex-bourbon casks, it was then aged in a white wine cask for further maturation. The cask strength of 55.2% preserves the expressive aromas of this limited-edition single cask, offering an exciting blend of traditional pot still character and fruity notes.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Malty and grainy with subtle fruit notes of plum, cherry, and subtle zest. Warm spicy notes with fine vanilla, floral and tart, and overall very straightforward and inviting.
• Palate: A clear pot still character with a pronounced malt sugar aroma. Dried fruits such as dried kiwi, figs, and apricots accompany spicy and peppery facets that provide considerable complexity. Light dilution emphasizes the dried fruit notes.
• Finish: Drys relatively quickly, but lingers with dark notes of oily chocolate, almonds and walnuts.

Distillery/Bottler: This bottling is the result of a collaboration between the three spirits experts Julia Nourney, Thorsten Frahling, and Mareike Spitzer, who jointly curate the "Best Drinking Friends" collection. This bottling reflects their meticulous selection and passion for exceptional single-cask whiskeys.
