Special features: On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of Black Tot Day, which marked the end of rum rations in the British Royal Navy on July 31, 1970, Black Tot from Elixir Distillers presents the Master Blender's Reserve 2025. This limited edition combines rums from Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad, including a rare rum from the Caroni distillery in Trinidad, which closed in 1997. The composition also includes components of the original Royal Navy blend, which has been continuously blended since the early 19th century. Bottled at 54.5% alcohol by volume, without chill filtration and without coloring, this rum reflects the traditional style of the Royal Navy.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Rich aromas of dark chocolate, black licorice, and overripe bananas, accompanied by tropical fruit notes.
• Palate: Full-bodied with notes of orange juice, anise, cinnamon, fresh mint, and fennel, complemented by grapefruit and acacia honey.
• Finish: Long and complex with a warm, spicy depth reminiscent of caramel, spices, and citrus fruits.
