Banana Joe combines St. Kilian Single Malt Spirit with natural banana flavouring and cream. Its base is a malted-barley spirit distilled twice in original Scottish pot stills. Inspired by Bud Spencer's film character of the same name, the liqueur combines a distinctly fruity flavour with a creamy texture.

The gift pack includes a 0.7-litre bottle at 21% alcohol and a limited-edition Ritzenhoff collector's glass featuring a Bud Spencer design. This pale yellow cream liqueur can be enjoyed neat, over ice or as an ingredient in cocktails and desserts.

Store the bottle in a cool, dark place and gently swirl or lightly shake it before pouring. Once opened, keep it refrigerated and consume the contents within six months.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe banana and creamy toffee mingle on the nose. A subtle touch of lime and a hint of pineapple complement the sweet notes.
• Palate: The liqueur is elegant and full-bodied on the palate. The sweetness of ripe bananas is accompanied by creamy toffee and smooth Bourbon vanilla.
• Finish: Banana and toffee leave a long, creamy, sweet finish, with creamy vanilla and a touch of lime also lingering.

Distillery/Bottler:

St. Kilian Distillers is based in Rüdenau in the Odenwald. In 2012, Andreas Thümmler and Irish whisky expert David F. Hynes developed plans for a distillery following the Scottish model. The first spirit flowed from its two copper Forsyth stills, each with a capacity of 6000 litres, in 2016. In May 2019, First Kilian became its first three-year-old single malt whisky. Alongside whisky, the company also produces liqueurs, using its own Single Malt Spirit for Banana Joe.
