Bumbu Rum The Original
Volume: 0.7 liters | Alcohol content: 40% | Non-chill-filtered | No coloring
Description
Sailors and traders of the 16th and 17th centuries refined their rum with fruits and spices – and called it Bumbu. The brand of the same name is based on this Caribbean legend. Bumbu is produced at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, which was founded in 1893. It is made from sugarcane from local, sustainable farms in eight of the world's best sugarcane-producing countries: Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guyana, and Honduras.
Bumbu Original is the flagship of the range. After a long aging process of up to 15 years, it is blended with all-natural Caribbean ingredients, a combination of fruits, herbs, and spices. This unfurls luscious aromas of vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, roasted nuts, and allspice.
