Distillery/Bottler: J & A Mitchell & Co Ltd. is best known for operating the Glengyle Distillery and for its Springbank brand. Independent bottling is carried out by Cadenhead's, Scotland's oldest independent spirits merchant, which has specialized in natural and hand-selected whiskies since 1842. The "Enigma" series features secret cask bottlings with special characters from various regions—here, from the Lowlands.
