Auction process at bringts.ch
Purpose of the auction
The bringts Spirits Auction creates a community that brings joy to lovers of fine spirits and offers a platform for offering rare and special spirits. In keeping with the spirit of "Against the Serious Animal," the auction remains anonymous and uncomplicated.
Important: bringts.ch is not a platform for individuals seeking to offer rare or "hyped" spirits at completely exorbitant prices. Such offers will be consistently rejected.
What can be offered?
- Rare spirits, preferably from the categories: whisky, rum, cognac, armagnac and gin.
What cannot be offered?
- Standard spirits in the lower price segment, unless they are no longer available on the market.
- Bottle divisions, already opened bottles, home-distilled or home-made liqueurs.
- Products with more than 80% alcohol by volume.

The auction
At www.bringts.ch/collections/auctions you will find the current auctions with information on duration and current price.
Special features:
- There is no minimum price that must be reached. Only the current price counts (including shipping, fees, taxes, etc.).
- Bids can only be increased in increments of CHF 5 or CHF 10.
- Auction extensions are excluded – auctions end strictly at the specified time.
- The highest bidder wins the bid.
After the award
- Buyer:
The buyer will receive a confirmation and a request for payment after the end of the auction.
- Salesperson:
The seller will be notified and requested to send the product to bringts.ch. (A postal label will be provided.)
After bringts.ch has inspected the goods, they will be forwarded to the buyer. (Please refer to the Terms and Conditions.)
How do I register my product for auction?
To register your product, we need:
1. Photos:
- at least 2 high-quality pictures of the bottle (front and back).
- No backgrounds or decorations in the picture.
2. Product details:
- Information such as filling quantity, alcohol content (vol%), condition, etc.
3. Minimum price:
- You set the minimum price. This is increased by the fee (10%) and shipping costs (CHF 20).

Important: Products from private sellers will be marked as such. Once your product has passed the review, it will be listed within 10 days and will remain active for 7 days by default.
Cost overview for sellers
- Fee: 10% of the minimum price.
- Shipping costs: CHF 20.-
Example:
- Minimum seller price: CHF 100.-
- Fee: CHF 10.-
- Shipping costs: CHF 20.-
- Total starting price: CHF 130.- (plus 8.1% VAT → CHF 140.50).
Settlement upon sale (as an example):
- Sales price: CHF 250.-
- VAT (8.1%): - CHF 18.73
- Fee: - CHF 10.-
- Shipping costs: - CHF 20.-
- Payment to the seller: CHF 201.27
