Special features: The Codigo Tequila Reposado is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and ages for six months in French white oak barrels that previously contained Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Napa Valley. This special aging gives it an elegant amber color and complex aromas.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Rich aromas of oak, caramel, and vanilla, accompanied by fresh agave sweetness and a hint of white pepper.
- Palate: Soft, round, and balanced. Fine aromas of ripe agave, creamy vanilla, and subtle pepper notes unfold harmoniously, supported by an elegant wood spice.
- Finish: Long-lasting, silky, and wonderfully balanced. A slight sweetness and gentle wood notes linger on the palate, reminiscent of fine whiskey – elegant and warm at the same time.
Distillery/Bottler: Codigo 1530 Tequila is produced in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico, in a private family distillery. For five generations, tequila has been produced here using traditional methods, without additives, to preserve the full, natural flavor of the agave.
