Special features: The Downpour Scottish Dry Gin is the first gin creation of the North Uist Distillery and captures the spirit of Hebridean island life. Made with a double concentration of botanicals compared to the industry average, it presents itself as a robust, citrus-forward gin with lasting spice notes. A distinctive feature is the natural cloudiness that occurs when mixed with tonic, an indication of the abundance of essential oils.

With the aim of creating outstanding craft spirits, the distillery is the first legal distillery on the island of North Uist. All products are distilled, bottled, and labeled directly on the island to benefit the local community in the long term.
