Pyrat XO Reserve
Special features: The Pyrat XO Reserve is a masterfully crafted blend of Caribbean rums that age for up to 15 years in Limousin oak and American white oak barrels. This long aging imparts remarkable depth and complexity. Each bottle is filled in hand-blown pieces and carries a tag of the "Hoti," the Zen patron saint for children and bartenders, which is said to bring luck and prosperity to the bearer.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Opulent aromas of orange liqueur, accompanied by sweet notes of marzipan and vanilla.
- Palate: Full-bodied and almost liqueur-like, with dominant flavor notes of vanilla, caramel, honey, and cinnamon.

Distillery/Bottler: The Planters Distillery on the Caribbean island of Anguilla produces the Pyrat XO Reserve. It was founded by the English sailor CJ Planter in the late 19th century, who married the daughter of a sugarcane producer and established the first distillery on the island. Today, the rum is marketed under the Pyrat label by The Patrón Spirits Company.
