Zuidam Dad's Homemade Vodka - LITER

Volume: 1 litre | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: No | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Rye is at the heart of Dad's Homemade Vodka. The grain gives it a spicy character, accompanied by light fruitiness and a soft texture. Its name has a family story behind it: Fred van Zuidam originally distilled rye vodka for his own enjoyment. His family later added it to the range in his honour.

The vodka is pot-distilled and is not chill-filtered. It contains 40% alcohol and comes in a 1-litre bottle without gift packaging. No colouring is added.

Served lightly chilled, it reveals its rye character neat. It brings its delicate grain spice to a Vodka Martini, Vodka Soda or Moscow Mule.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Fresh grain notes mingle with subtle fruitiness and a hint of spice on the nose. A delicate sweetness rounds out the aroma.
• Palate: The vodka is soft, full-bodied and creamy on the palate. Delicate rye spice meets light fruitiness, with the alcohol remaining well integrated.
• Finish: The finish remains soft and gently spicy. A subtle rye note fades with pleasant warmth.

Distillery/Bottler:

Zuidam Distillers is an independent family business in Baarle-Nassau on the Dutch-Belgian border. Fred and Hélène van Zuidam began producing liqueurs and genever in 1976. Their sons now run the company: Patrick is responsible for management, while Gilbert handles sales.

The distillery produces and further processes its spirits and extracts within the family business. Natural raw materials form the basis of production; no artificial fragrances, colourings or flavourings are used. Alongside vodka, the range includes genever, gin, liqueurs, rum and Millstone Whisky.
