Berliner Luft Kräuterfix

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 18% | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Berliner Luft Kräuterfix adds an aromatic herbal dimension to the classic peppermint liqueur. This combination of mint freshness and herbal spice is part of the Berliner Luft Mixed range and was launched in January 2022. The liqueur has an alcohol content of 18% and is offered here in a bottle containing 0.7 litres.

The liqueur has a brown colour with reddish highlights and contains no added colourings. It is vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free. The colourful label combines floral motifs with prominent Kräuterfix lettering.

Kräuterfix can be served neat and chilled or over ice. Tonic water or soda water make suitable mixers for a long drink, complementing its fresh herbal character.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Fresh herbs lead on the nose, accompanied by subtle citrus notes and a delicate touch of spice.
• Palate: The liqueur is refreshing and slightly bitter on the palate. Herbs and mild sweetness come together in a balanced flavour.
• Finish: The long finish remains refreshing, with lingering herbal notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

Berliner Luft comes from SCHILKIN in Berlin-Kaulsdorf. The spirits factory there was founded in 1932. Following a period of partial state ownership, it became a state-owned enterprise in 1972; the family regained the company in 1990.

Alongside Berliner Luft, SCHILKIN produces vodka, dry gin, wine brandy and herbal liqueurs. The company continues to use traditional family recipes for its vodkas. Berliner Luft, meanwhile, forms the basis of a liqueur family whose variants combine peppermint character with different flavours.
