Casamigos Reposado

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Maturation in American white oak casks shapes this reposado. After the agave hearts have been slowly cooked and the tequila distilled twice, it rests in oak for at least six months. During this time, it develops a honey-gold colour, combining gentle oak notes with a silky texture.

Casamigos Reposado is made from 100% Blue Weber agave from Jalisco, Mexico. Bottled at 40% alcohol in a bottle containing 0.7 litres, it can be enjoyed neat or used in a Margarita or Paloma.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Caramel leads on the nose, accompanied by a hint of cocoa.
• Palate: Dried fruit combines with spicy oak and a subtle agave sweetness on the palate.
• Finish: The smooth finish is medium to long, with notes of vanilla.

Distillery/Bottler:

Rande Gerber, George Clooney and Mike Meldman founded Casamigos in 2013. It began as their shared house tequila, intended to be enjoyed with friends. The name loosely translates as “house of friends”, reflecting these origins.

Casamigos selects Blue Weber agave grown in the clay-rich soils of Jalisco for its tequilas. Processing the agave hearts involves slow cooking using traditional brick ovens, extended fermentation and two rounds of distillation. The subsequent resting or cask maturation distinguishes the brand’s individual expressions.
