Compañero Elixir Orange brings together Jamaican rum and the flavours of ripe oranges and fresh coconut. Its rum base is made from molasses using column distillation. The liqueur is not cask-aged, with pronounced sweetness shaping its smooth, fruit-forward character.

The miniature contains 0.05 litres at 40% alcohol and comes without gift packaging. Its black bottle has an orange label featuring maps and nautical motifs. The liqueur is not chill-filtered and contains no added colouring. It can be enjoyed neat or used in cocktails and desserts.

Distillery/Bottler:

Compañero is the work of the Danish company 1423 ApS. Its story began in 2008, when a group of whisky-loving friends discovered rum at a fair. That encounter led to their first own bottling: a blend from Barbados and Trinidad, bottled in November 2008 and released in early 2009. The number of the selected sample, 1423, gave the company its name.

Compañero means companion or friend in Spanish. Under this name, 1423 develops a range of rums, spirit drinks and liqueurs from different countries and with different flavour profiles. The range includes bottlings from Jamaica, Trinidad and Panama. For Elixir Orange, the company combines a Jamaican rum base with orange and coconut.
