Ed von Schleck Likör

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 15% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: Yes

Special Features:

Ed von Schleck takes the flavour combination of the familiar strawberry and vanilla ice cream and turns it into a cream liqueur. Strawberry leads, while cream and a delicate vanilla note complement its sweet, creamy character. The liqueur comes from Germany and is offered at 15% alcohol in a bottle holding 0.7 litres.

Well chilled, the liqueur can be enjoyed neat as a shot or over ice. It also works in cocktails and with desserts, for example poured over vanilla ice cream. It contains milk products and colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose offers an intense aroma of sweet strawberries and cream. Vanilla stays subtly in the background, complementing the creamy, sweet aromas.
• Palate: On the palate, the liqueur is full, velvety and creamy. Fruity strawberry and creamy sweetness shape the flavour, accompanied by a restrained vanilla note. The alcohol blends in gently.
• Finish: The finish is long and remains soft, with a creamy strawberry aftertaste.

Distillery/Bottler:

Ed von Schleck is one of the own brands of Hamburg-based Dovermann/Hentze GmbH. Alongside its work as a sales agency, the company develops its own drinks. This liqueur draws on the familiar combination of strawberry, vanilla and a creamy texture.

The company's history began in 1975 when Harry Dovermann founded the business. With Kurt Hentze joining, the GmbH was established in 1980. Marco Dovermann has worked in the family business since 2008 and now runs it in the second generation. Its activities also include developing own brands, from the recipe to the finished label.
