Special Features:

Franzi captures the flavour of Hamburg's Franzbrötchen pastry in a cream liqueur. Cinnamon spice is joined by caramelised sugar, butter and dough notes, and a hint of vanilla. A base made with cow's milk cream gives the liqueur its velvety, soft texture. This original version is gluten-free but contains milk.

The box contains 16 miniature bottles of 0.02 litres each, for a total of 0.32 litres. Each contains the same Franzbrötchen liqueur at 15% alcohol. The printed box is suitable for gifting and sharing.

The liqueur can be enjoyed chilled, neat or over ice. It also works well in coffee and with desserts, for example as a topping for ice cream. Store it in a cool, dark place.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals cinnamon and sweet sugar notes.
• Palate: On the palate, cinnamon and vanilla combine with balanced sweetness. Caramelised sugar, butter and dough notes add to the velvety, soft texture.
• Finish: The finish is gentle, sweet and long-lasting.

Distillery/Bottler:

Franzi was created by siblings Ann-Katrin and Johann Dallmeyer from Elmshorn, who also founded the Korn and liqueur brand NORK. They introduced Franzi as their second brand in 2021. Developing the Franzbrötchen liqueur took almost four years and involved numerous recipe trials. The decisive step was choosing a cream base to pair the flavour of the buttery laminated pastry with a suitable texture.
