Special Features:

For this winter version of its egg liqueur, NORK adds traditional gingerbread spices to the creamy base. The recipe includes Madagascan vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, star anise and orange. Organic free-range eggs from Demeter farms and real organic vanilla are used for this limited Christmas edition.

The liqueur contains no binding agents and has a flowing, creamy consistency rather than a thick texture. It is heated during production. Its creamy sweetness and spice notes can be enjoyed neat, and the gingerbread egg liqueur also works well poured over a dessert. The recipe is lactose-free.

The miniature contains 0.05 litres at 16% alcohol. Its red label with gold and black details reflects its Christmas theme.

Distillery/Bottler:

NORK was founded by siblings Ann-Katrin and Johann Dallmeyer. After two years of development, they launched their first Korn in October 2016. A successful crowdfunding campaign had already secured buyers for a large proportion of the first 300 bottles. Their ambition to re-establish Korn as a spirit to be taken seriously grew into a brand with its own range of liqueurs.

NORK has also been developing liqueurs since 2018, initially as limited special editions. The team avoids artificial flavourings and flavour enhancers and uses organic ingredients wherever possible. The eggs used in its egg liqueur illustrate this approach: NORK also uses small eggs from organic farms that are too small for regular retail sale. As a designer, Ann-Katrin Dallmeyer also shapes the brand’s visual identity.
