Special Features:

This Arrangé brings together the natural fruit notes of mango and passion fruit, rum from the Rivière du Mât distillery and selected spices. The recipe combines the distillery’s own rum base with a distinctly fruity, fresh character. The liqueur is bottled at 35% alcohol in a bottle containing 0.7 litres.

Its amber colour has copper highlights. A tumbler is suitable for serving the Arrangé neat, either at room temperature or over ice. A natural sediment may form. The bottle should not be shaken.

Distillery/Bottler:

Founded in 1886, Rivière du Mât is one of the oldest distilleries still operating on La Réunion. It is located in Saint-Benoît on the island’s east coast. For its traditional rums, the distillery uses molasses from sugar cane grown on the island and water from rivers in the east.

The distillery uses open fermentation vessels. The distillation team then controls the separation of aroma components through a column with multiple plates. Recovering production residues is also part of its approach: fermentation of the distillation residues produces biogas for steam generation, while recovered nutrients are returned to the sugar cane fields as fertiliser.
