Special Features:

More than two decades separate the distillation and bottling of this vintage Armagnac: the spirit was distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2025. Its character brings together ripe dried fruit, vanilla, gentle sweetness and subtle wood notes.

This official bottling contains no added colouring and has a rust-brown hue. It is offered at 49% in a bottle containing 0.7 litres, packaged in a wooden box.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, ripe dried fruit sits alongside vanilla, with oak remaining subtly in the background.
• Palate: On the palate, spice combines with gentle sweetness and a light wood note.
• Finish: Mild spice and a hint of vanilla linger in the long finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Domaine de Baraillon is located near Lannemaignan in Bas-Armagnac, on the border between Gers and Landes. The Claverie family has farmed the estate since 1748. Its approximately 20 hectares of vineyards grow on sandy clay soils known locally as Sables fauves. The estate matures its spirits in regional oak casks in its old cellars.

Laurence Claverie took responsibility for the estate after training in viticulture and oenology. In 2015, her duties included vine pruning, harvesting and distillation. During the distilling season, the alembic runs day and night: growing the grapes and turning the wine into Armagnac are both part of the same family business.
