This Bas-Armagnac centres on a single distillation vintage: the spirit from Domaine de Baraillon was distilled in 2010 and matured until June 2024. It was bottled on 18 June 2024 at 49%. Fruity notes combine with restrained chocolate and spice, while roasted nuts emerge in the finish.

This official bottling contains no added colouring. The clear bottle reveals the Armagnac's golden-brown colour, complemented by a cream label bearing a classic emblem. The 0.7-litre bottle is supplied in a wooden box.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, dried apricots and dates sit alongside apple and citrus notes. Roasted almonds complement the fruit, with delicate floral nuances.
• Palate: On the palate, dried fruit combines with juicy apple. A subtle chocolate note and delicate hints of spice accompany the fruity flavour.
• Finish: The long finish brings together roasted nuts and dried fruit. Spicy notes linger at the end.

Distillery/Bottler:

Domaine de Baraillon is run by the Claverie family in Lannemaignan. They have farmed the estate since 1748 in Bas-Armagnac, on the border between the Gers and Landes departments. Its 20 hectares of vineyards grow on sandy clay soils known as sables fauves. The estate cultivates Folle Blanche, Colombard and Baco grapes.

The house's production style combines traditional Armagnac distillation with maturation in oak casks from the region. The spirits age in the estate's old cellars. SCEA Claverie is the producer responsible.
