Special Features:

Bourbon and sherry casks shape this Benromach during its 25 years of maturation. The Speyside Single Malt combines fruity sweetness with restrained smoke and mature oak spice. The casks are filled by hand and stored in traditional dunnage warehouses.

The whisky is bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colouring. The 0.7-litre bottle comes in a red premium box.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Bold berry aromas mingle with caramelised apple and delicate vanilla sweetness on the nose.
• Palate: On the palate, juicy raisins and vibrant orange notes combine with tropical fruit and dried banana. Subtle smoke accompanies the fruit.
• Finish: Mature oak spice carries the long finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Benromach is located in Forres, in Scotland’s Speyside region, and was founded in 1898. The Urquhart family behind Gordon & MacPhail acquired the distillery in 1993. After five years of refitting, it was officially reopened by Prince Charles in 1998.

A small distillery team works with Scottish barley and spring water from the nearby Romach Hills. Production relies on the team’s experience and senses. Warehouse work includes weighing each cask individually and marking it by hand before it takes its place in the traditional dunnage warehouses.
