This lightly smoky and fruity Islay single malt matures in traditional whisky casks. Felix Dear, spirits curator at Berry Bros. & Rudd, brings the selected cask contents together in small batches for bottling. Soft peat smoke, green fruit notes, honeydew melon, sweet malted barley and dry earth define its character.

The whisky is offered at 45.3% alcohol in a bottle containing 0.7 litres. It is chill-filtered and contains colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, soft smoke meets green fruits.
• Palate: On the palate, the smoke grows stronger and combines with green fruit notes and honeydew melon.
• Finish: The medium to long finish combines fruity sweetness with dry earth and soft toffee, while the smoke gradually fades.

Distillery/Bottler:

Berry Bros. & Rudd is a family-run wine and spirits merchant founded in 1698 and still based at No. 3 St James's Street in London. For this single malt, the company selects a lightly smoky, fruity spirit from Islay and traditional whisky casks; the distillery remains unnamed. The whiskies from the selected casks are then married for bottling.
