Tasting Notes:
Distillery/Bottler:
Highland's Friends is part of Fauconnier's whisky range. The company has its roots in Hesdin, France: the Distilleries RYSSEN business, founded in 1829 and initially producing alcohol from sugar beet, developed into a wine-bottling operation for the local market. Fauconnier moved to Marconne in 1976 and has belonged to the La Martiniquaise group since 2011.
Today, developing spirit recipes and bottling are central to Fauconnier's activities. The company works with both its own brands and private labels. Alongside facilities for large volumes, it has bottling lines for smaller runs with customised packaging. Highland's Friends is distilled and matured in Scotland.
