Nevis Dew Blue Label combines Ben Nevis malt with selected grain and malt whiskies from other distilleries. Blue Label is the continuation of the whisky formerly known as Millennium Blend, which won gold at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2000. This chill-filtered official bottling contains colouring and is offered at 40% in a 0.7-litre bottle with gift packaging.

Its character combines citrus and ripe orchard fruit with vanilla, caramel and malt. Toasted walnut and wood add depth, while herbs, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, coriander and white pepper shape its spicy side. The almost oily body leads into a balanced, restrained finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Lemon opens the nose with a fresh accent. Apricot, herbs and oat biscuits then emerge, supported by malt, toasted nuts and wood. Vanilla pod and nutmeg add spice, accompanied by a hint of clove. A delicate smoky note remains in the background.
• Palate: The soft, almost oily body carries apple pie and deeply toasted walnut. Yellow pear, caramel sweetness and herbs complement the fruit and roasted notes, while cinnamon, coriander, white pepper and subtle oak provide spice. A light smoky note accompanies the interplay of aromas.
• Finish: The finish remains restrained and medium in length, with fruit and spice fading harmoniously.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Ben Nevis Distillery in Fort William was founded by John MacDonald in 1825 and celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2025. It has belonged to Nikka Whisky Distilling Co., Ltd. since 1989. For Nevis Dew Blue Label, the distillery contributes its own Ben Nevis malt and is responsible for blending it with selected grain and malt whiskies from other distilleries.
