This Tamdhu single malt was distilled in 2013 and matured for twelve years entirely in refill Oloroso hogsheads. Cadenhead's bottled it at 46% ABV in May 2026 as part of the Original Collection.

Dulce de leche, raspberry ice cream and baked pear open the profile. Blueberry, candied ginger and rye bread follow before mandarin, vanilla and lemongrass define the finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Tamdhu Distillery produced this Speyside single malt, while Cadenhead's selected it for the Original Collection as an independent bottler and bottled it in May 2026. The whisky itself matured entirely in refill Oloroso hogsheads.

Tamdhu was founded in 1897 and is located in Knockando, Banffshire. Its Gaelic name means “little dark hill”. The distillery's sweet, fruity style is well suited to maturation in former sherry casks.

Cadenhead's was founded in Aberdeen in 1842 as a wine and spirits merchant. Following an auction in 1972, the business and its goodwill passed to J & A Mitchell & Co Ltd in Campbeltown; Cadenhead's has belonged to the company ever since.
