For this single-estate bottling, Lochlea combines whisky from first-fill bourbon casks, new American oak casks and Calvados casks. The cask combination brings together fresh apple and grassy field notes with butterscotch, apple pie and oak spice.

Orchard & Oak is part of Lochlea's permanently available Single Estate Core Range. Each bottle contains 0.7 litres. The whisky is bottled at 46% in its natural colour, with no added colouring and without chill filtration.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Sweet apples mingle with freshly cut grass, delicate floral notes and earthy orchard fruit.
• Palate: Green apple and butterscotch meet grassy freshness, oak spice, apple pie and creamy fruit sweetness.
• Finish: Sweet oak, caramel and light cereal notes fade with gentle spice.

Distillery/Bottler:

Lochlea is an independent, family-owned single-estate distillery on a working farm near Craigie in Ayrshire, in the Scottish Lowlands. Distillation began in summer 2018. Lochlea grows barley on its own farm, uses it to produce new-make spirit on site and matures the whisky in its warehouses there. Orchard & Oak is an official distillery bottling.
