Springbank 10 Year Old combines maturation in 60% bourbon and 40% sherry casks with the distillery's distinctive style, based on lightly peated barley and two-and-a-half-times distillation. This ten-year-old single malt is part of the distillery's core range. It is bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colouring; the bottle contains 0.7 litres.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Pronounced cereal notes emerge on the nose. Gooseberry, mango and grape join vanilla pod and honeycomb.
• Palate: The fruit and cereal impressions continue on the palate with oats, malted barley and orange. Notes of heather honey, hard toffee, nutmeg and cinnamon then develop.
• Finish: The finish reveals a characteristic sea salt note accompanied by a subtle touch of peat smoke.

Springbank Distillery produces and bottles this ten-year-old single malt in Campbeltown; J & A Mitchell & Co Ltd is the company behind the distillery and brand. Springbank's style comes from lightly peated barley and its unusual two-and-a-half-times distillation.

Springbank was founded in 1828. Today, the distillery carries out every production stage on the same site, from malting through distillation and maturation to bottling. It malts its own barley on malting floors, ferments in wooden washbacks and uses three copper stills.
