Chivas Regal 25 Year Old continues the historic recipe concept of the luxury blend created for New York in 1909. The blend is composed afresh in the blending room for each batch, using only Scotch whiskies aged for at least 25 years. Every cask is selected by hand and individually assessed by tasting before the blend is bottled at 40%.

Its character brings together fruit, nuts and chocolate with a creamy texture and a soft, long finish. Alongside extended maturation, individual cask selection and a composition developed afresh for every batch shape this bottling.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, sweet orange and peach mingle with marzipan and nuts.
• Palate: The palate reveals rich chocolate orange accompanied by the creaminess of fondant.
• Finish: The finish is soft and rounded, lingering exceptionally long.

Distillery/Bottler:

Chivas Brothers Limited is responsible for Chivas Regal 25 Year Old, a blend of malt and grain whiskies. The Chivas story began with the shop run by brothers James and John in Aberdeen. In the 1860s, they further developed their work with aged whiskies and blending. Strathisla distillery, founded in 1786, is the home of Chivas Regal.

Introduced in 1909, the 25-year-old blend became famous in New York and disappeared during Prohibition. It returned in 2007 as a reinterpretation.
