Special features: This rare Single Cask Cognac was distilled in 1935 and spent over 50 years in French oak barrels. It then rested for 24 years in a glass bottle, known as "Dame Jeanne," allowing the distinctive balance of oxidative and fruity aromas – known as "Old Bottle Flavour" – to develop. Only 80 bottles of this collection were filled, unfiltered and without colorants, with a robust 47% vol.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Lush and complex with notes of dried apricot, white fir honey, shell limestone, coconut flakes, sugarcane juice, as well as hints of ripe pineapple and mango mousse. In the background, there are nuances of green apple and pear.
• Palate: Oily with a hint of "funk," comparable to Caribbean rum. The balanced fruit-acid balance recalls a renowned Riesling, complemented by subtle spiciness reminiscent of fine chili. Spicy hints of sandalwood and larch add complexity.
• Finish: Long and fresh with a lasting summer freshness.

Distillery/Bottler: Vallein Tercinier is a traditional family business in Chermignac, now in its fifth and sixth generation, producing the finest Cognacs. The history of the house is characterized by careful craftsmanship and a rich stock of decades-old barrels that repeatedly yield exclusive Single Casks. Whisky fans especially appreciate the unadulterated and complex bottlings from the extensive inventory.
