Special Features:

This Napoleon belongs to the PAX range of carefully selected small batches and is crafted as a Cigar Blend. The blend brings together several crus, with Fins Bois accounting for the majority. It is made from Ugni Blanc wines. Following double distillation in Charentais pot stills, the eaux-de-vie mature for at least six years in French oak casks from Limousin and Allier. The Cognac is chill-filtered and adjusted to 40% alcohol. The bottle features the ornamental PAX design and comes in gift packaging.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Wood appears first on the nose; a lighter, fresh note develops into exotic fruit and floral nuances. Ripe mango and pineapple are accompanied by delicate mint.
• Palate: The Cognac is full-bodied, rounded and supple on the palate. Tropical fruit notes combine with an impression of toasted oak.
• Finish: The long, warm finish reveals spicy mint and light menthol notes, ending with pronounced wood.

Distillery/Bottler:

Rémi Landier and his sons founded the Cognac brand bearing his name in 1973. The family house's roots in Fins Bois date back to 1890. Based in Rouillac, the house is now run by Jean-Yves Landier and his daughter Géraldine. Its Cognacs are made by double-distilling white wine in small copper Charentais pot stills. Following maturation in oak casks, selected eaux-de-vie are blended in small batches and bottled. Cognac Rémi Landier also produces and bottles this Napoleon.
