Special features: The annual limited release of Compass Box Hedonism, a groundbreaking blended grain whisky that has shaped the category for 25 years. This 2025 edition combines whiskies from Cameronbridge and Girvan with older Hedonism components aged between 15 and 25 years. Part of the whisky was matured in first-fill Marsala barriques, which adds sweetness and fruity nuances. The edition consists of 9,912 numbered bottles. The artwork is by Argentinian-born artist Sofia Bonati and interprets the iconic Hedonism figure in a powerful, versatile style.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Gentle waves of caramel and powdered sugar, followed by a core of ripe peach puree, cocoa and fresh pear.
- Palate: Creamy chocolate mousse, accompanied by nutmeg, vanilla custard and a hint of cinnamon.
