T.Sonthi Sahnelikör Pistazie-Banane mit Tonkabohne

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 20% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Pistachio, banana and tonka bean take centre stage in this cream liqueur. The cream base carries the nutty and fruity flavours, while rum complements the recipe. Hints of vanilla, almond and marzipan accompany the warm spice of tonka bean. The liqueur comes from Germany and is offered at 20% alcohol in a 0.7-litre bottle.

Serve well chilled at around 6–8 °C to enjoy the liqueur neat or over ice. It also pairs well with vanilla and pistachio ice cream and can add a creamy, nutty and fruity element to coffee, cocktails or desserts.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Pistachio and ripe banana stand out clearly at first on the nose. Creamy impressions and warm tonka spice with light vanilla and almond notes complement them.
• Palate: On the palate, the liqueur is soft, full-bodied and very creamy. Nutty pistachio shapes the flavour, while banana contributes fruity sweetness. Tonka bean adds vanilla and almond notes in the background.
• Finish: Pistachio, banana and delicate tonka notes linger through the long finish, accompanied by a creamy impression.

Distillery/Bottler:

Thomas Sontheimer from Laupheim is the person behind T.Sonthi. In 2020, he began developing his own rum range. His idea was to create aromatic, sweet yet robust drinks for enjoying neat that would also pair well with cigars. This cream liqueur adds a creamy speciality to the rum-focused range.
