Distilled in 2013, the whisky matured in a Bourbon hogshead, was released as part of the August Collection 2025 and was bottled at 46%. It has no added colouring and is not chill-filtered.

Dailuaine stands on the Carron Burn, southwest of Aberlour in the heart of Speyside, and was established in the early 1850s. Following expansion in the 1880s, it became the region’s largest individual distillery. The name Dailuaine-Glenlivet was already used by Dailuaine-Glenlivet Distilleries Ltd, founded in 1884. Relatively rapid distillation and limited copper contact in the condensers contribute to the distillery’s robust, full-bodied character. Most of its production goes into blends, with only a small proportion released as single malt, making standalone Dailuaine bottlings uncommon.
Cadenhead's traces its roots to a wine and spirits merchant founded in Aberdeen in 1842 and operates as an independent bottler. The company has belonged to J & A Mitchell & Co Ltd since 1972. Cadenhead's oversees maturation and bottles its products in Campbeltown; for this Original Collection release, the bottler selected a twelve-year-old Dailuaine matured in a Bourbon hogshead.
