Special Features:

This Irish Single Pot Still whiskey was finished in sherry cask No. 76438 and bottled as a cask-strength single-cask release at 61.6% ABV. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

The bottling forms part of The Awakening Series 2025, a range of limited special releases created specifically for Whisky Live Germany 2025. Teeling contributed the whiskey from cask 76438 to the event’s inaugural edition in Hamburg.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals grapefruit, mango, white grapes, peach and citrus fruit.
• Palate: The palate brings white pepper, European oak, vanilla, baked biscuits and warm peach.
• Finish: The finish is dry and long, with lingering cooked barley, spices and maple syrup.

Distillery/Bottler:

The family’s history reaches back to Walter Teeling, who founded a small distillery in Dublin’s Marrowbone Lane in 1782. Jack and Stephen Teeling revived the family’s whiskey tradition from 2012 onwards and opened the first new distillery in Dublin for more than 125 years in the Liberties in 2015. The Teeling Whiskey Company combines unconventional mash bills and innovative maturation methods with modern distillation technology. Teeling itself released the bottling from cask 76438 as part of The Awakening Series.
