Distillery/Bottler: Croftengea is a characterful peated whisky from the Loch Lomond Distillery. This is located in Alexandria, at the southern end of the lake of the same name in Scotland. Founded in 1966 and reopened in 1987 by the traditional Bulloch family after a closure in 1984, the distillery is characterized by its unique combination of malt and grain production on one site. The technical versatility with various pot still types and Coffey stills allows for extraordinary whisky variations. Under several names, a wide variety of characters are created here, including Croftengea.
