Special Features:

A finish in Madeira Malvasia casks shapes this limited Dingle bottling. The triple-distilled Single Malt initially matured in bourbon casks before spending the final 18 months of its thirteen-year maturation in the wine casks. Paddy Foley, who oversees cask maturation at Dingle, is responsible for its composition.

The 2026 release comprises 1,585 individually numbered bottles worldwide. The whiskey was bottled at 51.3%, without chill filtration or added colouring. The 0.7-litre bottle comes with burgundy and orange gift packaging.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, honeyed sweetness and sun-dried fruit mingle with candied citrus. Toffee and vanilla complete the bouquet.
• Palate: On the palate, dark chocolate and sticky dates meet spicy oak. Cloves and cinnamon add to the flavour.
• Finish: The long finish begins with delicate spice, nutmeg and the sweetness of sugar syrup. Orchard fruit and a hint of toasted oak then emerge.

Distillery/Bottler:

The independent Dingle Distillery is located in County Kerry on Ireland’s west coast. Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley founded it in 2012 after having already worked in the Irish craft beer scene. Their aim was to establish a distillery that would distil whiskey in small batches and shape its own approach to cask maturation.

For this Single Malt, the production stages all take place at the same location: Dingle distils the whiskey, matures it on site and bottles it there. Alongside Single Malt, the distillery’s range includes Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, gin and five-times-distilled vodka.
