This Speyside Single Malt spent its entire twelve-year maturation in a Ruby Port Pipe. It was distilled on 15 August 2011 and bottled from cask number 7438 in June 2024. Billy Walker selected this single cask for the German market. The official bottling comprises 765 bottles at a cask strength of 55.9%, with no added colouring or chill filtration.
The fruity influence of the port cask combines with GlenAllachie's characteristic mocha and heather honey notes. Red berries and caramel complement chocolate and currant cake, while cinnamon, toffee and ginger add sweet and spicy accents.

The GlenAllachie was built near Aberlour in Speyside in 1967 and began production in 1968. Architect William Delmé-Evans designed the distillery to use gravity for much of the movement of materials through production, saving energy in the process. In 2017, Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson acquired the distillery from Chivas Brothers. Previously focused on supplying whisky for blends, it launched its first single malt core range in 2018.
Today, cask selection and ongoing monitoring of maturation are central to Billy Walker's work. Around 50,000 casks are stored in 16 warehouses on the distillery grounds. Throughout maturation, Walker and his team assess whether moving the whisky to a different cask type would be beneficial or whether it has already reached the desired balance between distillery character and wood influence.
