Special Features:

Fresh and dried raspberries from Perthshire give this gin two distinct fruit accents: the fresh fruit adds tartness, while the dried berries deepen the sweetness. Raspberry leaves are also used during distillation, adding a subtle herbal scent and floral flavours to the fruit. Juniper brings these influences together with a classic gin character.

Produced in small batches at 40% alcohol, this bottling builds on the raspberry concept of Edinburgh Gin Raspberry Gin Liqueur. Its natural flavours also recall raspberry jam. Serve with tonic water, a few raspberries and a twist of lemon peel. The bottle contains 0.7 litres and comes without gift packaging.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose combines ripe red berries with sweet fruit notes. A subtle herbal note complements the raspberry aroma.
• Palate: Red berries meet fresh floral notes on the palate. Raspberry sweetness blends with the classic gin character.
• Finish: Sweet raspberries and red fruit remain present on the finish alongside the classic gin character.

Distillery/Bottler:

Edinburgh Gin was founded in 2010 by Alex and Jane Nicol, who initially sold at local events through their Spencerfield Spirit Company. The brand developed a range of classic and flavoured gins. Selecting Scottish ingredients is an important part of this work: the raspberries that define Raspberry Gin come from the fruit-growing region of Perthshire.

In 2024, production moved from the previous sites at Rutland Place and the Biscuit Factory in Leith to a new distillery at The Arches in central Edinburgh. It houses three custom-built Carl stills. Alongside production, the site offers tours, tastings and a gin school where visitors can create their own recipe.
