Oasium adds a green, herbaceous dimension to the familiar Hendrick's character. Master Distiller Lesley Gracie took inspiration from the plants and fruits of a desert oasis. Built on classic Hendrick's with its rose and cucumber infusions, it combines aromatic herbs, bright fruit notes and fresh citrus. Released in 2025, this edition is the sixth limited creation from the Cabinet of Curiosities and is bottled at 43.4%.

Aromatic herbs give the gin depth, while citrus highlights its fresh character. Juniper, rose and cucumber maintain a recognisable link to classic Hendrick's. The green notes feel silky, with a refreshing citrus finish providing a counterpoint. Oasium works well in a Gin & Tonic with cucumber or an Oasium Fizz with grapefruit, lime and soda water. The dark apothecary-style bottle has an orange label illustrated with an oasis.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is fresh and lively, with herbal and citrus notes. Tropical fruits bring sweet nuances, followed by delicate rose and elderflower notes accompanied by gentle green impressions.
• Palate: On the palate, tropical fruits initially meet fresh citrus notes. Aromatic herbs add depth, accompanied by juniper and a light peppery spice. Rose and cucumber complement the fresh, balanced flavour.
• Finish: Aromatic herbs and lively citrus notes linger on the finish. A fruity sweetness accompanies the soft finish without overshadowing its freshness.

Distillery/Bottler:

Lesley Gracie developed Hendrick's for William Grant & Sons, and the gin was launched in 1999. At the Gin Palace in Girvan on the Scottish coast, she oversees distillation and the development of new creations. Production involves distillates from two different stills: a Bennett copper pot still and a Carter-Head. These are blended before rose and cucumber essences are added. An on-site laboratory uses botanical analysis to support the development of new variants and maintain consistent quality.

William Grant & Sons was founded in 1887 and remains wholly family-owned. The company produces Hendrick's and also bottles Oasium in Scotland.
