The Mini Collection explores four different sides of Malfy: Originale, con Limone, Gin Rosa and con Arancia each feature in a bottle containing 0.05 litres. Together, the turquoise gift pack contains 0.2 litres of gin. All four varieties have an alcohol content of 41%.

Originale focuses on classic juniper, coriander and subtle citrus notes. In con Limone, lemon takes centre stage. Gin Rosa brings a softer, rounder grapefruit character, while con Arancia takes a richer, bittersweet direction with blood orange. The collection offers a way to explore the differences between a classic dry gin and more citrus-led variations.

Alongside the distillates, the fruit-led varieties also contain natural flavourings and sugar. Gin Rosa contains the colouring E129; con Arancia contains E129 and E110.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The collection's aromatic spectrum combines lively citrus aromas with juniper and light herbal notes.
• Palate: The gins feel fresh and smooth on the palate. Depending on the variety, the citrus notes range from zesty lemon through softer grapefruit to full-bodied orange.
• Finish: The finish is clean and refreshing, leaving a lively citrus impression.

Distillery/Bottler:

Malfy is produced at Torino Distillati in Moncalieri, near Turin. Carlo Vergnano founded the company in June 1992 by acquiring a facility from Seagram Italia, where he had previously worked as plant manager. Torino Distillati develops and produces gin, liqueurs and vermouth, among other drinks, for other brands and also has miniature bottling lines. The Malfy brand has belonged to Pernod Ricard since 2019.

For Malfy, botanicals such as hand-picked juniper and Italian citrus fruit are first steeped in alcohol. The subsequent cold distillation is intended to preserve their fresh aromas. The distillates are then blended with water from Piedmont. Depending on the variety, ingredients include Italian lemons, Sicilian pink grapefruit or Sicilian blood oranges.
