Special Features:

Lychee gives this Belgian organic gin its distinctive character, alongside cherry, orange peel, basil, rosemary, star anise and juniper berries. The miniature contains the same recipe as the full-size bottle, presented at 40% alcohol in a 0.05-litre format.

The base consists of organic grain alcohol and water from the High Fens. The gin is distilled and bottled in Belgium, with no additives or sugar added. Orange peel and juniper complement its fruity, herbal and warmly spicy aromas, which also recall fruit gummies.

The white miniature bottle with its black panda design comes without gift packaging. The gin can be enjoyed neat, over ice or with a dry tonic.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Fresh herbal notes mingle with lively fruit on the nose. Lychee and cherry are clearly recognisable; basil and rosemary add to the bouquet, while orange and star anise provide warm, spicy accents.
• Palate: The gin opens gently and lightly on the palate, with a delicate sweetness. An interplay of fruit and spice then unfolds.
• Finish: The finish is gentle and light, with lingering herbal notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

The story of Panda Gin began in 2017 with eight months of recipe development, macerations and tastings. It started in a small workshop with a 30-litre still. During development, Panda Gin worked with Radermacher distillery, founded in 1836; master distiller Bernard Zacharias contributed the distillery's expertise to the project.

Panda Gin's organic spirits are certified by Certisys. The miniature also carries the EU organic logo and the control body code BE-BIO-01. The black-and-white design features the panda, which also alludes to the origin of the lychee fruit that inspired the name.

Facts:
