Special features: This gin matured for 2.5 years in select orange cognac casks, allowing the fresh gin botanicals to blend harmoniously with the warm notes of the cognac. Production takes place in small batches, and each bottle is hand-filled, wax-sealed, and individually labeled—an expression of true craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Juniper, fresh orange peel, floral and peppery accents, complemented by a subtle vanilla note
• Palate: Soft vanilla meets orange aromas, fine pepper notes, balanced with juniper and spicy, floral elements as well as a hint of cognac

Distillery/Bottler: The Shortcross Gin range is produced at the Rademon Estate Distillery in Ireland, which is strongly influenced by its traditional farming traditions. The botanicals reflect the local flora – elderflowers and berries, juicy apples, and wild clover complement the classic spices. The distillery uses a wheat distillate as a base and fresh spring water from its own well. This ensures the characteristic balance and purity of this gin.
