Strawberries from the Altes Land complement Skin Gin's classic botanical recipe in Berry Kiss. Each 600-litre batch uses 100 kilograms of freshly picked strawberries. The fruit is distilled, giving this German dry gin its distinctive strawberry note.

The strawberries are joined by Moroccan mint, juniper from the heathlands, oranges and pink grapefruit from Spain, limes and lemons from Italy, and coriander from Vietnam. The botanicals are distilled separately before being combined. The recipe thus brings together regional fruit and the brand's mint and citrus components.

For a gin and tonic, serve with plenty of ice, fresh strawberries and mint. The textured, cream-coloured bottle covering features red lettering, an anchor symbol and strawberry motifs. The bottle contains 0.5 litres of gin at 42%.

Distillery/Bottler:

Skin Gin has its roots in the Altes Land just outside Hamburg. Its production centres on distilling the botanicals separately in a copper still: only then are the individual distillates combined by hand. The classic recipe brings together mint, juniper, citrus fruit and coriander; the Kiss editions extend this foundation with additional fruit or botanical components.

Design is also part of the brand's concept. The bottles are wrapped by hand and finished with hot stamping. Different textures and motifs give each edition its own appearance.
