Whitley Neill Raspberry Gin combines Scottish raspberries with a classic botanical base of juniper, coriander, cassia bark, angelica, orris root, liquorice, orange peel and lemon peel. This fruit-forward gin contains 41.3% alcohol and comes in a red 0.7-litre bottle.

The raspberry character remains intertwined with aromatic juniper, while subtle sweetness rounds out the flavour. Juniper, coriander and liquorice lead the way before fresh raspberry emerges and citrus notes linger.

The idea for this gin goes back to Johnny Neill’s childhood, when he picked fruit at his mother’s family home in Boyndlie, near Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire. These memories inspired him to create Raspberry Gin.

Distillery/Bottler:

Johnny Neill founded Whitley Neill in 2005 as the eighth generation of distillers in his family. Their history in the spirits trade dates back to 1762. Halewood acquired the brand in 2009, and production moved to the City of London Distillery in 2021. This distillery is now the production home of Whitley Neill.

The City of London Distillery began operating in 2012 with two copper pot stills, Clarissa and Jennifer, each with a capacity of 200 litres. The 500-litre still Elizabeth joined them in 2016. The distillery thus combines the revival of gin production in the City of London with a gradual expansion of its distilling capacity.
