Special features: This eight-year-old single malt whisky from the Glasgow Distillery masterfully combines the art of double distillation of unpeated and lightly peated malt. Aged in six first-fill bourbon casks, it is presented in a limited edition of 1,400 bottles. Bottled on October 1, 2025, it reflects the innovative spirit of one of Scotland's most exciting "New Wave" whisky producers.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: A seductive bouquet of floral honey and vanilla, accompanied by a hint of sweet smoke. Undertones of candied apples and buttery citrus fruits add depth.
- Palate: Velvety and rich with flavors of lush vanilla and double cream, followed by tropical pineapple, sweet clementine, and malty shortbread.
- Finish: Long-lasting and vanilla-forward, with continuous notes of sweet smoke and robust oak spice.
Distillery/Bottler: The Glasgow Distillery Company, founded in 2014, is the first independent malt whisky distillery in Glasgow in over 100 years. It produces single malt from Scottish barley and Loch Katrine water, combining traditional methods with innovative approaches.
