Special features: This limited release from the "Icons of Campbeltown" series honors the mystical figure of the "Wulver" from local folklore. The 12-year-old single malt was initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks and then refined for nine months in first-fill tawny port casks. Bottled at cask strength with 51.7% vol., without chill filtration and without coloring, this whisky presents itself in natural color and full of aromatic diversity.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe red fruits, dark forest berries, and fine port wine sweetness, underlined with a hint of maritime freshness.
• Palate: Juicy dark fruits, velvety chocolate, creamy caramel, and fine wood spices from the tawny port.

Distillery/Bottler: Glen Scotia is one of the few remaining active distilleries in the former whisky metropolis of Campbeltown. The distillery was founded in 1832 and has a tumultuous history with several closures and reopenings. Today, it belongs to the Loch Lomond Group and produces a variety of single malts known for their quality and authenticity.
