Special Features:

This 15-year-old Speyside single malt matures in Spanish sherry casks and American bourbon casks, with an accent from new American oak. The whisky is then married in the Solera vat and bottled at 40%. The different cask types and the Solera process give it depth and complexity.

Introduced in 1998, the Solera vat is never completely emptied and always remains at least half full. As a result, every subsequent marriage contains a proportion from earlier fillings. This continuous process brings the different maturation components together in a multifaceted overall profile.

Rolled out worldwide from April 2026, the new presentation brings design elements from the family archive into a new visual identity. The redesigned stag is framed by the founding year 1887, while the prominent Grant family crest and its “Stand Fast” motto also form part of the new packaging design.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge mingle with rich dark fruit.
• Palate: The whisky is silky-smooth and full-bodied on the palate, with sherry oak and marzipan accompanied by cinnamon and ginger.
• Finish: The finish is rich and defined by lingering sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Glenfiddich Distillery is located in Dufftown in Speyside. William Grant built it with his nine children, and the first spirit flowed there on Christmas Day 1887. The distillery remains in the ownership of the founding family, and William Grant & Sons Ltd. is the family-run company behind Glenfiddich. Glenfiddich continues to use water from the Robbie Dhu spring for distillation.

Facts:
