Special Features:

This Port Dundas was distilled in 2010 and matured for 15 years in a small batch of first-fill sherry hogsheads and first-fill bourbon barrels. Signatory Vintage bottled it in 2026 for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

The whisky was bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colouring. The combination of casks gives its soft grain base additional fruity depth.

Vanilla, caramel and honey meet gentle cereal notes. Raisin and apricot lead into toffee and brown sugar, while citrus peel, coconut, spice and oak keep the sweet style balanced.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, creamy vanilla custard and sweet caramel mingle with raisins, red cherries and syrupy sweetness. Fine oak and subtle spice lend structure to the aromas.
• Palate: The whisky is rounded and smooth on the palate. Creamy vanilla and toffee support fruity notes of cherries and soaked raisins, complemented by sweetness, gentle freshness and balanced cask structure.
• Finish: The finish is medium in length, gentle and pleasantly sweet. Vanilla and syrup linger alongside a touch of spice and slightly drying oak.

Distillery/Bottler:

Founded in Glasgow in 1811, Port Dundas Distillery ranked among Scotland’s important grain distilleries for many decades. It closed in 2010 and was later demolished. This whisky therefore comes from its final year of production.

Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother. Andrew Symington acquired Edradour Distillery in 2002, and by 2007 Signatory had transferred all its operations to the distillery’s site in Pitlochry. As an independent bottler, the company released this Port Dundas as part of the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
