Grosperrin Cognac No.68 Fins Bois
Special features: This extraordinary cognac comes from the Fins Bois terroir and was distilled from grapes from the municipality of Vars. After distillation in 1968, it was inherited twice and finally acquired by Maison Grosperrin in 2018. It was bottled in January 2021 at cask strength of 56.4% ABV.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Expressive and rich with aromas of mushrooms, mocha, and licorice.
Palate: Powerful and oily with notes of forest floor and licorice.
Finish: Long and harmonious with a hint of wood.
Distillery/Bottler: Maison Grosperrin was founded in 1992 by Jean Grosperrin and is now run by his son Guilhem. It is known for the selection and bottling of rare, old cognacs and works closely with over 150 cognac producers to create unique bottlings.
