Special features: This 13-year-old Highland Single Malt Whisky was matured in collaboration with the renowned winery St. Michael Eppan in South Tyrol in first-fill Cabernet Sauvignon casks. The maturation in these casks gives the whisky a unique complexity and depth. It was bottled in June 2025 with an alcohol content of 48.2% and without chill filtration or colorings to preserve the natural flavors.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Inviting aromas of ripe black cherries, currants, and dark chocolate, accompanied by delicate notes of rose petals, cedar wood, and gentle vanilla wood.
• Palate: Full-bodied and velvety with layers of mulled wine spices, plum jam, and cranberries, complemented by undertones of roasted almonds, leather, and gentle tannins.
• Finish: Long and warming, with lingering impressions of Black Forest cherry cake, grape skins, and a hint of spiced oak.

Distillery/Bottler: The Edradour Distillery, founded in 1825, is one of the smallest and most traditional distilleries in Scotland. It is beautifully situated by the River Edradour in the Scottish Highlands and is known for its artisanal production of single malt whiskies. In collaboration with the renowned winery St. Michael Eppan from South Tyrol, special bottlings are created that combine the expertise of both houses.
